Need Travel Trailer Values or Commercial Trailers Values?

Need a database for trailers?

If so, you might be struggling. Few sources exist that provide price tags for large vehicles. Plus, those that do tend to cost 100s of dollars (especially for commercial trailers).

As a result, researching trailer prices can be exhausting – if not expensive.

We don’t think it’s wise to spend lots of money, just to get price tags. Nor should you spend many hours getting trailer prices, which may be far from accurate.

Instead – we recommend exploring and using an official guide. But this leads us to another problem…

Official Guides Don’t Help To Find Trailer

The Kelly Blue Book (KBB) and NADA are some of the biggest vehicle guides in the US. Yet unfortunately, neither contain a section for price tags of commercial vehicles.

In fact, trying to find a similar guide for each can be difficult. Plus, it won’t be as varied as you wish, where you won’t get accurate estimations of the vehicles condition.

As a result, you’ll need to improvise. You need to find a way to research trailer prices, and without wasting excess time.

This is what we’ll help you with. Follow the tips below, and use them to collect vehicle prices!

First Option – Listing Sites

You can try looking online. Websites such as eBay and Craigslist tend to provide price sufficient price tags, and in your local area.

And if those websites aren’t enough. Then check local newspapers. You can search the classified ads section in an online newspaper!

Second Option – KBB RV Guide

While original Kelley Blue Books lack a trailer section, they do have an KBB RV section.

In that section, you might find the price tags of trailers for consumer-use. You can may find travel, folding trailers, and RV camping trailers.

You can use those as a base that you can compare against commercial trailers. In fact, you can use that RV section to properly evaluate price variance of a trailer, based on condition.

Third – Focus on Travel Trailers

Commercial trailer prices aren’t widespread. However, travel trailer prices are all over the place.

If you’re researching trailer prices, focus on those. You’ll find many guides for RVs and camping vehicles that show detailed price tags. You’ll even find trade-in values and in large guides too.

Use NADA Guides.

While we did mention the KBB, the NADA guide does have RV guides too. We recommend checking that guide in addition to your KBB research. From there, evaluate average price tags per vehicle’s condition.

Plus, the NADA guide does have slight advantages over KBB. For example, you get a vehicle history report, and step-by step guides on how a vehicle is evaluated. And this is all done in accurately, and for vehicles in your ZIP code.

Plus, the NADA guide allows you to research by model, year, and make – similar to the KBB guide.

In a Nutshell.

Keep your focus on travel trailers. They’re easier to search than commercial ones.

Use those as a reference guide when evaluating similarly conditioned commercial vehicles. From there, make the purchase decision that suits you best!
